On Saturday, 3rd December, Coast Guard Whangamata held their Christmas Party at the Operations Centre in Whangamata to express our grateful thanks to all volunteers, be they radio operators, crew, and all the other staff associated, and particularly for our volunteers who spend many hours in Port Road, selling Lottery Tickets. They are on sale again this year with some great prizes. Without our volunteers, we would be unable to function and provide safety at sea.
