Coastguard Whangamata advise the following upcoming courses.

Any boatie who is a bit nervous of using the radio and lodging a trip report will benefit from the Radio Operators course. It’s a one day course. It is essential you let us know your boating plans so we can find you if it becomes necessary.

The Day Skipper course is of value to anyone skippering or crewing a boat and spending time on the water.
