Congratulations

Another 8 volunteers from the Whangamata Volunteer Coastguard achieved full "Operational" status on Saturday 2nd December 2017 when they were assessed by a Eastern Region Regional Instructor. Congratulations to Simon Brickwood, Gareth Coslett, Fraser Dockery, John Flinn, Nina Hawkins, Dave Kirby, Geneva Lowe and Steve Porter. A year of hard work including classroom and on water training has achieved this great result. This means our local unit has 18 fully operational volunteer wet crew ready for the summer season. Keep safe on the Water.
