Coastguard Whangamata held an Awards Dinner last night. The awards went to:

Barry King - Land based volunteer of the year

Greg Burmester - Wet crew volunteer of the year

Geneva Lowe - Crew trainee of the year

John Chadwick - Unit volunteer of the year
